A  rectifier  is an electrical device composed of one or more diodes that converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). A diode is like a one-way valve that allows an electrical current to flow in only one direction. This process is called rectification. An amplifier is an electronic device that increases the voltage, current, or power of a signal. Amplifiers are used in wireless communications and broadcasting, and in audio equipment of all kinds.  Or Amplifier is device which increase the strength of signal. An amplifier, electronic amplifier or (informally) amp is an electronic device that can increase the power of a signal. An amplifier functions by taking power from a power supply and controlling the output to match the input signal shape but with a larger amplitude. George Sudarshan is one of them.  Born in Kottayam in 1931,   Ennackal Chandy George Sudarsan   studied at the CMS College and later at the Madras Christian College, the University of Madras and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
